Where is Gunpowder Lodge?
Right on Belair Road (US 1) in Kingsville, directly across from the Big Gunpowder Falls trailhead parking for Gunpowder Falls State Park.
Where can I eat after hiking in Gunpowder Falls State Park?
Gunpowder Lodge sits directly across Route 1 from the Big Gunpowder Falls trailhead in the park's Central Area. Crab cakes, cold beer, a full menu, and a free lot, no reservation needed.
What trails are near Gunpowder Lodge?
The Big Gunpowder Trail, Sweathouse Trail, Stocksdale Trail, Wildlands Trail, and Lost Pond Trail all start from the state park lot directly across Route 1, in the Central Area of Gunpowder Falls State Park. No fee, no reservation.
Can I bring my dog on the trails across from Gunpowder Lodge?
Yes. Dogs on a leash are welcome on the state park trails across Route 1. Inside the Lodge it's service animals only.
Is there parking?
Yes. Free lot on site.

Is there live music?
Yes, local bands play regularly, and open mic night runs every Monday from 6 to 9 pm. Check the events page for what's coming up.
Do you run specials?
Every day. Crab cake day Mondays ($19 with fries and slaw), steak day Tuesdays (14 oz NY strip, $20), $10 burgers, $17 steamed shrimp, and $12 wings on Wednesdays, a full rack of ribs Thursdays ($18), chef specials Fridays, and the Sunday brunch buffet. A rotating specials board runs on top of all that.
When is happy hour at Gunpowder Lodge?
Monday to Friday, 3 to 6 pm. Drink specials by day: $5 crushes Mondays and Thursdays, $15 domestic buckets Tuesdays, $5 craft beer Wednesdays.
